Default CCI .22LR Stingers

Can CCI .22LR Stingers be used in the M&P .22 full size and or Compact models? I looked at the books and it don't say either yes or no?

In the m&p22 compact manual, no warning of using hyper velocity ammo. Should be good to go.

Personally i'd recommend the CCI Velocitors instead. The Stingers have a slightly longer case length that can sometimes cause issues with certain guns. The Velocitors are also hyper velocity, but are normal size cases, and hit harder since they're 40gr bullets.

I wouldn't shoot hyper velocity ammo too much though. Increased battering/wear and tear on the gun over the long run.

I've used quite a few Stingers in my FS 22 M&P. Can't speak about the compact, but they work great in mine. The extra charge helps the small bullet - no cycling problems at all.
