Does anyone have a M&P40 SKU 209000 15 RD 4.25” Large Frame and use a Safariland 6355 which is 4.5" ? Or do you use some other Safariland ALS, tactical, with quick release strap on your M&P40? I want to know if this is available and if the ALS works on this large frame.
My agency issues ALS Safariland holsters for uniform, plain clothes and tactical. They are awesome in every way. Secure retention, slick and fast draw, ultra-durable and you can change from one platform to another easily. We tested a few holsters before we settled on the ALS system and it was the only set up we found worth owning. We started using ALS 3-4 years ago with Glocks and are now transitioning to using ALS holsters with our new(ish) M&P's. The guns are better and the holsters are just as awesome.
I emailed safariland and they replied back that the 4.25" will not fit in the 4.5" 6355. I did not believe them so I called them and they told me again that it would not fit. I still did not believe them so I ordered it anyways and it fits just fine. I wish they understood their product better.
Anybody use Safariland 6355 & M&P 40?
