Limbsaver for Shield
Anybody try a Limbsaver yet. I was wondering which size would fit best, #12012 or #12013 ?
For that matter, anyone know of a different grip sleeve that fits?

I think both the 12012 and 12013 will be too big. They're both for double stacks. I have the 12012 on my SD9 and the 12013 on my SR9C. Hopefully Talon Grips will start making one to fit the Shield.

I got my small Limbsaver (12013) today and while it fits OK, I find it too soft and mushy for my taste. I hope they will let me return it for a refund. I will wait for Pachmayr to come out with one for the Shield. I have one on my full size M&P 9 and I like it.

Pachmayr
Hi:
I'm new here, saw the thread about a slip on grip for the
Shield. PACHMAYR just start making them. I ordered one,
haven't received it as they are 2 weeks behind in their orders.
Go to their website, Lyman Products - Brands that Perform to find it.

Fljayhawk, welcome aboard. Do you notice any slower presentation with the sleeve?

The Pachmayr for the PPK, item 05110 (#4 Slip-On) also works with the Shield. Many of my local stores carry the #4 Slip on, so no need for shipping.
While I actually appreciated it with my old PF-9, I haven't felt the need to use one on my Shield.

Pachmayr just released their new Tactical Grip Sleeve for the Shield, which, btw, fits perfectly on my Walther PPS. I don't like the squishy, jelly like feel of the Limbsaver.
