Did this same thing to all of my M&P family. Looks very professional. Nail polish works best (since it drys faster). Testors also works good just takes longer to dry. I have the procedure down pretty good.

It is a simple process with nail polish!
  • Using isopropyl alcohol degrease the area to be painted
  • Take nail polish and liberally apply to area you want colored
  • Using non acetone nail polish remover gently wipe off excess paint from frame
  • If necessary apply more paint to areas that did not fill in correctly and again remove excess with non acetone nail polish remover
The whole process takes less than ten minutes!

Thanks! I may give it a try. Good to know that non acetone nail polish remover is the way to go & it doesn't hurt the finish.

I also paint all the recesses of all my magazines (witness holes and Logo) It makes the weapon unique! If you don't like the color you can change it anytime you want by using the non acetone nail polish remover and them degrease again and repeat the process with the color of your choosing!
