It's easy to get hooked on the M&P's. I have six and I'm looking at two more 45 Mid and 9c. Those darn 40's keep calling me too. Once the dust settles,I'll more than likely have a 40 Shield too.

Does anyone know of any online sites that currently have the 8 round magazines in stock? Can find 7 round mags online but can't find a good price for an 8 round magazine.

I just walk right in my LGS and they are always on the shelf.

Same here. I too am finding most online places out of the Shield mags but most of the LGSs around here have a good supply of the 8 rounders at least

Klubba.....where are you located in NH? Riley's has a ton of the 8 rounders albeit they want 41.80 for them. I know another place that has 2 of the 8 rounders for 34.99 if you are interested. This was as of Saturday

I live over in Brentwood. Bought my shield at Riley's. Trying to get an 8 round magazine under $40. Which place had them for 34.99?

I purchased Shield 7 & 8 mags Cabelas online before Christmas free shipping. I pulled the plastic extension off 8 round and carry in Desantis mag pouch in opposite pocket.


I would imagine with 7 round max in NY you may find it hard to locate 7 round magazines but there should be a bunch of 8 round used coming from Newyorkers.

I was in Brentwood this weekend. Ate lunch at Goody Coles Saturday and traveled through on my way to Stateline in Plaistow yesterday. Used to buy a lot from Northern Bass as well. Surprised to see it still there lol

Nice. I like Goody Coles but haven't been in there in a while. I've driven by Stateline many times but never stopped in that place. I'll usually go to Costa Arms in Kingston for my local gun shopping. So you are a member of Country Pond? I've been debating becoming a member there for years. What do you think about the place? Do they do any fishing tournaments or anything fishing related. Love to fish and love having Northern Bass Supply down the street (my wallet may not like it though).

Even Anchorage Alaska is out of Shield mags.

I almost forgot about this post. Our LGS started getting them in about a month or so ago. The first batch of 8's (no 7's) went to the people that actually bought their Shields there. Everyone got at least one out of the first batch to be fair. Second batch we got what we originally wanted and had ordered with the Shield to begin with. Some of us traded our 7's for 8's with each other when we got them. I kept one 7 for better CCW and four 8's for back up.

Stateline isn't bad, lot's of Smiths a decent prices...think they are going for 529. Prices on ammo are crazy though...and I don't mean just a little high..I mean bat**** crazy high lol This was my first trip to the place as a lot of my co-workers live in Kensington, Exeter and Kingston so they go there a bit. I did find magazines for my Springfield xD-S .45 so that was like hitting the lottery...those are extremely difficult to find. I'll have to check out Costa next time I'm over that way, have not heard of it.

This was my first time to Country Pond...despite the name no fishing....go figure! It is ok...the indoor range is like being in a 5 lane garage. Sort of beat up and a bit messy but to the truth I really like it lol. 24 hour access with a card swipe so if you get the urge to pop off some rounds at 3am, have at it lol. My co-workers belong there so that is what is drawing me there. About an hour drive but it is an easy ride and I like shooting with friends. The outdoor range is supposed to be all new and from what I saw it looks pretty good. I'm pretty sure I'll join as paying the Manchester Firing Line Range (which is a really nice place btw) is getting old lol

I have dumped enough money into Northern Bass about 13 years ago to put a new wing on the place heh

I have shot at Manchester Firing Line. Rented a machine gun there once. I have some friends over in Manchester. Do you still fish? I am always looking for new people to fish with.
