Default m&p trigger shoe 1.0 vs 2.0

hello... Smith & Wesson m&p trigger shoes are the same on the 1.0 and 2.0. so why won't the apex polymer trigger shoe, only fit the 1.0? not the 2.0?
according to Apex? I did email them but got no response yet???

update...got email back from apex, but all they said was it would not work by itself in a 2.0...

Default

I have apex in both of mine (1.0and 2.0) and if I remember correctly the pivot point that the pin goes thru is different and the stop on the trigger is different. Which is also why the apexs are different.
