Default Any Opinons on Dry Film Lube?

I read where a poster owning a couple of H&K P7M8 pistols found that dry film lube worked fine due to those having a gas port.
Have a H&K P7M8 my self__bought new in 1983. I've never found a better shooter! Pricey even back then. That was their downfall.
So__anyone have experience or even negative information about using the stuff?
I have a can at my work bench (Never used it on a firearm)
Mine is RZ-50. Works on hinges....Duh.

I tried it on my S&W revolvers years ago. Half the can still sits on the shelf, unused.

With the cost of an HK P7 being so high and the price difference (today) between lead projectiles and plated projectiles being so low, why would you want to try and find a way to shoot lead in your expensive firearm?
