I loved the feel of my Hogue Handall grips on my SHIELD, unfortunately they kept on moving a bit after a while and when I removed one it ripped. So Hogue send me a new grip.
There is a stick kit made by them but I had to find it locally , its basically double sided tape with an activator that its used to install grips in golf clubs. I found it at Academy for about $7.00 for the tape and solvent ( the solvent seems to be water based as it did not smell like anything at all or was oily).
I cut the tape 1.5 inches and placed it on both sides of the handle. I warmed up the grip with a blow dryer and apply the activator/solvent to the tape and grip to slide it in. its tricky but I used a small towel to assist me pushing it up the grip sleeve. I lowered the grip low enough where I could position my middle finger above the first finger groove without getting scratched by the roughnnes of the botton of the trigger guard, then with a brand new utility knife I cut the excess rubber. Let the activator/solvent sit overnight to evaporate. The grip has veins in the front and back, this allows you to center/align the sleeve against the vein in the back of the gun grip perfectly.
If for some reason your tape shows higher than the grip take a credit card and just push it down to adhere and hide below the grip sleeve
