Default LUV MY 9MM FS PRO

Hello,

I am a new shooter. Recently bought the 9mm Pro FS 5". I have run maybe 500 rounds through it with ZERO malfunctions. I have shot 115 grain fmj of either Blazer Brass or PMC. Both relatively inexpensive ammo.

The purpose for this post is for others that are considering this pistol. Often, when browsing these forums, all you read are complaints and problems. Sort of like talk radio. People that are happy usually don't call in. Only those with complaints.

These forums are the same. While it is useful to post a problem and seek an answer, some may get the impression that these guns have inherit problems.

Well, here is one post for those considering the M&P9 with no problems.

I am very happy with my M&P.

Thanks

Larry

I have owned and shot the M&P Pro 9 mm, M&P F/S 9 mm, M&P F/S .45 and M&P 9 mm compact. Of the THOUSANDS of rounds I have sent down range, I do not recall more than a couple of problems, double feeds and fail to extract. That was way early on with the M&P Pro. After it went back to the factory for repair there were NO further failures in any of the pistols. I am an M&P fan, period.

I absolutely LOVE my M&P9 Pro as well!!!!! Loved it so much I bought a 9c a couple of weeks later.........loved it as well and loved the M&P line so I ended up with an FS M&P45 a couple of weeks after that! Hoping to eventually get a M&P Shield at some point in the not too distant future after things die down a little. Other than a couple of FTE's due to so-so ammo and one FTF I have not had any issues with any of my M&P's. I have over 1500 rounds through my 9 Pro, about 600-700 rounds through my 9c, and about 300 through my 45.

I have three M & Ps, a MP9 Pro, MP 9 compact, & a MP40 with extra 357 sig barrel.. I really like all of them. The only problems I have ever had was with the compact, failure to eject, and failure to feed last round from the magazine. Had to send it back to S & W twice but they finally fixed it, no charge. They sent me a extra magazine for my trouble. Good service! Now all three work fine.

Default LUV MY 9MM FS PRO

I have 2 M&P pistols and a 15-22 rifle. All are excellent performers and I couldn't be happier with S&W products.

Very impressed with my fs 9mm m&p! Been an awesome gun so far. Have well over 2k rounds through it & no problems whatsoever!! Hoping to get a m&p 9c in the near future The op is right. Seems like all you ever hear are the negatives. I think m&p's kick ***!

Yeah, I just ordered the reg 9 fs, never could find a pro. Figure I can make the trigger great so no worries but never had the pro option.

Yeah, my two LGS both said they have had them on order since last March and have yet to see one. They won't even take a deposit on one. Waiting for one at my LEO dealer cause the price is so good but I think I have a better shot at winning the lotto than seeing a Pro actually arrive.

Pro has 5 inch barrel, I think a better trigger and night sights.
