Default S&W new trigger reset?

Greetings, new to the forum, long time Glock fanboy, but I've been fondling M&Ps at the gunstore and I think I'm within a couple weeks of committing! Lol

Anyway, just wanted to report, I fondled the M&Ps tonight after fondling Glocks, and I realized, I think I now actually prefer the M&P trigger, which leaves Glock with no advantage over an M&P in my mind.

What took me by surprise tonight was I picked up an M&P45 that I remember having an exceptionally ****** trigger, but tonight the one I held had a reset as crisp (a little less silent) as a Glock reset. I was amazed, I had to feel it a few times to be sure. Still some of the other M&Ps still has the phantom reset, so my question here, is S&W starting to roll out the improved trigger into the entire M&P line?

Btw, all M&Ps held had a D something serial number, didn't pay particular attention to the 45 w/ nice reset's serial, but maybe I should have.

Well I'm with you except I'm not a glock fan. I'm old school 1911 fan.. in any case, in all the you tube videos I have seen for the M&P 22 the gun I was thinking about they all said there is no feel or any sound of trigger resetting at all.. I picked up a M&P 22 a few weeks ago for the first time and checked after asking the shop owner if it was ok to dry fire to check the trigger.. sure enough distinct feel of a reset and i could clearly hear it too.. So at least with the M&P 22 of late they have fixed the issue I would say.. also the trigger on the M&P 22 was the best out of box trigger I ever felt. Broke just like glass and smooth, pull weight would only be a guess on my part but I would guess it broke at about 4 lbs Granted the M&P 22 is Walther made and hammer fired single action only. Not striker fired.. George

Also my M&P started with a Ser# MP No D in it.
