I've owned a self-modified UpLula speed loader for use with my CZ75B 9mm and Kadet 22LR pistols. I purchased an M&P 22 a few months back and have been looking for a speedloader that will work with my M&P 22 magazines. To my surprise, my modified UpLula works with my new M&P 22 magazines as well! :)

For those that already have the UpLula, it can be modified so it will also load your M&P 22's as well. You'll need to file off and narrow the loading lip that pushes the ammo down into magazine. Once modified, it should still work with your other magazines. This mod saved me from having to buy the narrower Baby UpLula for 22's. There are instructions available at the Original CZ Forum here: Kadet Magazine loader-The UpLula-K Mod Pic-Tutorial is posted here

Here's a before/after picture of how the mod will look like.

i dont know about that. thinning up that steel lip might result in it bending when you are really pushing on it trying to get that last 9mm round in a tight new mag.

The steel lip is actually quite sturdy. The guy that orginally did this mod for himself has had well over 5,000 rounds of combined 22s and CF loads with no change to the steel lip angle. I, myself, have used it with less combined rounds. No change in the lip angle either. Again, this is just a viable option. Otherwise, just get a separate loader for your 22.
