Default 40c vs Shield 40

I have a Shield 40 which i like alot, Its fairly accurate, Very reliable and easy to conceal. BUT I LOVE my 40c, It also is very accurate very reliable and easy to conceal. My 40c hands down is more accurate than my shield, Both weapons have never ever failed me. I like the fact the 40c has more rounds, The fact its just as concealable as the Shield and the 40c is really not that much smaller the Shield. For a month or so the Shield was my EDC piece, now it's the 40c.
thanks

I got to agree with you on that. The difference in size is not enough to justify buying one when I already have a full size M&P9. I can conceal either one just as easily.

Agree also, Unfortunate for me I was bit by the Shield bug and bought one before really comparing the two. You are correct in saying the size difference really does not differ to much. I would say the weight is more of an issue than the over all size. like you i can conceal the 40c just as well as the shield. Plus the 4 extra rounds is a comfort as well as the ability to but a 15 round magazine for the 40c. I like my shield I REALLY LIKE my 40c.
thanks

I have three 40 caliber M&P's the full size and compact and the Shield. I can more comfortably carry the Shield instead of my compact which both I carry at about 4 or 4:30 IWB.

I carry my Shield anywhere but with my 40 compact I sometimes just left it in the console due to the discomfort to my back which could have left me defenseless in certain circumstances.

I carry as a backup now my fullsize 40 in my vehicle and my Shield is on my person at all times!

I have a .40 Shield and just yesterday bought a .40c. When I got home I was amazed by how close the two guns are in size. The Shiels will remain my CCW and I am already thinking about selling my new .40c for the full size as my home defense weapon. Since I got such a good deal on it I already have a couple of offers that won't cause me to lose any money.
