Default Interesting info from SW

I ordered an LE 9mm pro (178010) back in May. Got word yesterday from the dealer...S/W says its not available until "March 2013"....good grief. Thought y'all might find that interesting.

What exactly is the difference between the 9mm Pro and the "LE 9mm pro?" If it is just the extra magazine, can't you just buy an extra? The price differential is usually a fairly insignificant amount. So, why not just get a regular 9mm Pro?

No difference in the gun itself...just the extra mag, but just meant from an LE dealer. The price is at least 100 bucks cheaper than the LGS...and sometimes 200 (LGS in Maryland has it for 699$). The post was only about the shipping time frame i thought was interesting, while other dealers are getting them now.

If you're still interested in the S&W Pro Series 9mm #178010 you might give these folks a call. This is where I got mine and it looks like they might have one in stock. Easy to deal with and overnight shipping to your FFL.

My LE 9c came with an extra mag and was $455 with night sights, if I would've gotten regular sights$398. Regular compact are usually $500-550 around here and add another $40 for the mag and it's a significant amount. At least to me.
