This is probably a silly question but here it is anyway. Since this is my first handgun, and I intend to take good care of it, I am not sure what cleaning product to use. We used CLP to clean our M16A2 can this also be used for a pistol? Are there different kinds of CLP I should be aware of?

I'd appreciate any suggestions of Cleaning/Maintenance products to use. Thanks in advance,

Richard

Thank you both. I just got some CLP and MPRO-7. I am not familiar with G96 but will look into it.
