No power = boredom
So I lost power at 2:30 this morning and have been sitting around the house bored out of my mind all day. I decided out of boredom I would do a metallic gold color fill on my M&P45. It came out pretty good, but I'm not sure if I'm gonna leave it.

I like it well enough that my 45C may receive the same treatment. How did you do it? Gold paint pen swiped down after application?

I think you did a great job! Really looks nice. I'd been planning on doing this myself on my M&P 40 for quite a while! Even bought the gold paint last spring with intent of doing what you did.

I used a Sharpie metallic gold paint pen, let it dry a little then wiped it off with 91% alcohol.
And I have no idea why those pics are sideways.

Found the gold paint pen. Funny, mine doesn't say "Stainless" and a magnet sticks to it. Born-On-Date = July 2012.

I used this and it works great, just use mineral oil to wipe off the excess.
