Default S&W releases new M&P Pro Series CORE models.

For those that haven't seen this yet. S&W is releasing the new M&P Pro Series C.O.R.E. Models. Looks like they will available in 3 flavors M&P40L CORE (178059), M&P40 CORE (178060) and M&P9 CORE (178061).

Nice to see S&W leaning forward with this. Complete with suppressor sights no less. Curious to see how the slide is milled to accept all those different optics.

Well I just double checked their web site and they added the 9L (178058) since this morning.

WOW...I am glad I saw this post. I really like the look of the 9L/40L. Are these 5" barrels?

I know it's made for optics, however I like the night sights on the regular pro and the CORE has a regular 3 dot system.
Sometimes I like to shoot with optics and sometimes I like sights , the night sights help me when shooting in an indoor range and its not lite up real good where I shoot.

Damnit!! I thought i was complete.. got the standard mp, compact,5" pro, and just got the shield after sooo long and now they come out with another thats prolly gonna be hard to find like the 5". I thought i was finally gonna be healed from my.m&pitis but i just go a relapse

It's someting in the "Melonite". It's very adictive. I have the same problem. That new 9L is screaming my name. It spreads to the AR's too.
