Default Rmr on shield

Is it possible ? I'm looking at getting either a G36 or 9mm shield this week , and I'm curious if a RMR can be put on a shield or is the slide too thin?

Idk if it's possible, but I don't think it would be very practical, as it is RMR barely fits onto full sized slides, on a shield it would not only look awkward, but it would throw the balance of the gun off and I suspect may slow slide velocity enough to cause a malfunction. I'd pass.

If you want an M&P with an RMR, may I suggest waiting for one of the CORE models to hit shelves. That is what I'm planning to do.

Anything is possible as long as you have the money and resources. Practicality is something else.

Why would you want one on a weapon designed for shots less than 10 yards.

You also loose the ccw
