I was wondering if I could get some guidance from the guru s before I attemp to switch out the sights on my shield to Truglos

I have removed M&P 45c rear sights with a punch ( to round the striker block)

I used painters tape on everything, and didnt mar the metal

How tough is the front site? I see locktite on the screws of the rear screw holding it down that I didnt see on my 45C

Any thoughts?

I have a few weeks till my gun fund will allow the purchase

I know I herd my gunsmith working real hard banging away on my Shield, for over 20 minutes, so I left and told them call me when done. He said the rear sights went smoothly.

I have heard the front sight is a bear

Do they loctite it?

Would heating it help?
