*UPDATE* 9c
Greetings
Put another 150 rounds or so last night thru my 9c a total of just over 450 rounds now. Just bought it last week and I must say I am very pleased. Has not had one single malfunction and very very accurate. I fed it some WWB, Fed Champion, Winc 147 Grain SXT, GDHP 124 +P,Fed HST, and some frangible 100 grain. Shoots POA/POI, this will probably be my EDC from now on, I was back and forth with my 40c and Shield 40, Then with my 9c and Shield 9. But that Hi magazine capacity is a good feeling 12 +1 and a spare magazine. And there isnt a hugh difference in size, weight yes, But thats easily managable with a good holster (TT Gunleather) and a good belt.
Great EDC gun summer and winter.
Thanks
1SG

I carry one also in a JM Custom Kydex AIWB with a Wilderness belt. Perfect combination. Congrats! I thought Mass has a 10 round mag max (like here in NY). How do you have a 12 rounder?

The dealer that I got my 9c through worked for S&W. Sold me the gun with 2x 12 round mags. It was a nice little surprise. I did buy a 10 rounder online for CC though just because I'm a little nervous as to how a P.O. would react if I were pulled over while carrying (You're legally supposed to notify them right away) If he dropped the mag and saw that I had a 12 rounder in there, things could get hairy

My 9c has been a tack driver. I actually shoot it a tad better than my full-size. Probably because I've shot it a little more. I found a couple more 17rd full-size mags, and bought the grip spacers for them. It's very comfortable with the full-size mags and the spacers.

If I were you, I'd get rid of those 12 round mags and forget you ever had them.

as long as you notified him you were carrying and your state allows the high capacity mag it wouldn't be a problem.

Mass. has a 10 round capacity unless it is preban (like NY). I used to have a G26 (sold it for my 9C) and was able to get preban mags for it. Unfortunately the 9C wasn't produced before 1994.

You can't go wrong with the M&P 9c, I even prefer it to my Shield.

I like my 9C, it's like Mikey - it'll eat anything. It's a nice size pistol and I may wear it some in an N82 holster this coming winter. Normally in warmer weather I have my Beretta Nano with me and for shorts weather I have a TCP. Still, if I get used to the size and weight of the 9C, it very well could see more time in the rotation.

Anyone having a problem with mag lock, I'm having to almost slam it up for it to lock it locks fine withthe slide off... Might be the mag release button, it's brand new.

With the twelve round mags full. I have to slam mine in also. Mine still fairly new and I feel with a little more break in time it should smooth up. At first I couldnt get the 12th round in but I can now it just needed more break in time.

im thinking the same, glad its not just me. i figured i would give it some more time. put about 200 rounds through it and i keep the mags full to wear down the springs a little. must say i do love to shoot it, just as much as my xdm
