Default CCI Blazer Ammo

Just wondering if anyone has used Blazer ammo and how it ran in their M&P Shield?

Can't say how it would work in a Shield, but I have shot thousands of rounds of Blazer 9mm, both aluminum- and brass-cased, over the years, with no complaints except that it's maybe a little on the dirty side. But really no worse than a lot of others.

I've bought their aluminum-cased 158gr .357 hollowpoints for as little a $16/box at guns shows, and snap up all I see. I've still got half-a-case downstairs. It's a little low-powered for .357, but that's fine with me.

No problems here whatsoever. Probably put 200+ rds through my Shield of both the CCI Blazer aluminum and brass. It's a bit dirty but goes bang just fine.

Thanks guys! I was asking because when I was at Gander the other day picking up some ammo for the new Shield I just got and the old guy standing next to me was like,"I wouldn't use that aluminum stuff if I was you." Then he walked away before i could ask why. I figured I'd pose the question to the S&W fam. Thanks for the feedback.

I've shot several boxes of the Blazer aluminum from my FS 9mm with no issues.

I also see lots of Blazer brass, er, aluminum at the range. Haven't heard anyone complaining about it.
