Default NEW TRIGGER KIT FOR BODYGUARD 380

It is coming. I have been dealing with a Class 3 manufacturer of aftermarket gun parts for some time. I have a trigger kit from this manufacturer on one of my guns, not a S&W gun. I do not presently own a Bodyguard, but am aware of the long, deep breaking trigger. I was told they will soon have a trigger kit for the S&W Bodyguard 380. The kit will shorten the pull to near half of the stock pull length. The break point will be moved forward to near the center of the trigger guard. The release is not expected for a couple of months, but it is coming. I am not releasing the manufacturer's name until they have the product ready for sale. They do not want to be bombarded by questions as to what, how, and when. This is just to let those BG owners know that if you don't like the trigger pull, an option will be avaiable soon.

Hi Bob, Per your post a couple of months have passed and thought I'd check on progress. Can I order one now and where?
Thanks

I had a BG380. Although, not very long before I sold it. The trigger kit mod should have been available long ago, IMO. BTW, I'm very happy with my Taurus TCP738.

I have shot both.
I went with the Taurus all the way!
Loved the look of the BG. But that trigger is worst I've pulled among the .380 pocket pistols. Or any gun for that matter.

I want an American made body guard, but I love the trigger in try he Taurus 10x better. Hopefully this trigger kit will come out.
:-)

Default BG 380 trigger kit

Galloway Precision is now offering their shortened trigger pull kit: Galloway Precision :: Smith & Wesson Performance :: Bodyguard 380 Performance Parts

A couple of negatives about it are: someone here noted that the part was PAINTED, the price is $90, and it seems to be on backorder.
