Default Appendix holster for Shield needed
I recently got a 9mm Shield and have been looking for a Kydex holster for it. What I want is a straight drop holster that fastens to the belt with a clip for easy on/off. I keep thinking of the type of clip that Alessi uses, but with a Kydex body instead of leather. I have looked through the holster threads about the Shield and have not seen what I want.

Am I dreaming or is there a similar holster out there? The type of clip is debatable and could be like the High Noon style or any other that fastens tightly but securely.

Not cheap. I tried it with a glock and its more comfy than I envisioned.

Default Straight Drop Holster
I use a Falco straight drop for my M&Pc. The spring seems as strong as a beartrap J

For comfort, CrossBreed Appendix Carry will be the best choice IMO. I have tried too many holsters prior to it.

I have been using the PHLster Skeleton for several months now and I like it a lot. It has a single point of attachment for easy on and off.



Another holster I have been considering is from forum member Yardstick owner of MT Holsters. In his classified posting he has a "bare bones style" holster, shown on a XDs, that looks very nice.

PJ's has the answer for you. Lightest, fastest on and off, thinnest, and low cost to boot. I actually appendix carry using the FBI cant with no issues. 6'3" 200#

I love my Minotaur appendix carry it was the 4th holster I bought and I use it everyday now.

Cool info guys. Thanks i just got a shield today. Ill have to bug dale frickie for a holster and try one of the appendix holsters yall recommended. We in prescott az miss dale lol.

Any suggestions on a LEATHER appendix holster?

I use a Stoner Leather model 415 for my Shield and really
like it. Lot of options when ordering it.
