So after countless hours of reading I was finally able to pick up my .40 shield
And actually much to my surprise it was very simple and only ended up waiting about a week from the time I decided to purchase to having one in my hands.
Anywho, it's probably a little late as I have 100 rounds through it (federal 180s) but I was curious if anyone had insight to the proper break in. Is it just a given number of rounds through it or is there a specific guideline that I should adhere to?
Overall I am very pleased with this product, absolutely no issues whatsoever. Shooting about a 3 inch group at about 7 yards, not too bad for an unfamiliar gun. I find it very comfortable and easy to manage, it fits perfectly in my hands.
Last thing. Has anyone had any experience with the Talon IWB holster for the shield? Right now with out having personally seen many options for IWB holsters in the flesh the Talon seems to be the one that I am leaning towards.
Thanks in advance for any insight you guys might have
