...Hate to stereotype but they seem to act like the electronic mail order stores in NYC. Place your order and then cross your fingers that you don't get screwed.
Well, good news is that I haven't had another store call me about a different model.
For those who do not know the process for those electronic stores in NY/Philly...
a) Go into one store.
b) Get hounded by a sales person like you were covered in meat and he is a hungry wolf.
c) Go through the bargaining process on price.
d) Agree on price upon knowing that they have one "in stock".
e) Wait what seems like eternity as the sales guy whips out his cell phone and speaks Portuguese or Russian to his compadre on the other line. Probably a guy at the store down the road.
f) When you're about to say "forget it" after a 30 minute wait, some guy bolts in the front door with said product like he just hoisted it off a truck.
g) Come to find out that it is an open-box, missing something, or knock-off?
BTW, I still got my authentic (as far as I know) Sony mini stereo system from college.
As for D&L, I have faith that they will come through.
