I was able to sneak down to the indoor range on my lunch break today and shoot my M&P 9 fs. I had a box of Hornady and a box of Herter's from Cabela's. I didn't plan well and the only 9mm ammo the LGS had was Hornady when I bought the gun. I was able to get 300 rounds of the Herter's from Cabela's late one night. I was a bit leery of it, but I shot a box of each and didn't have a single issue with any of it.
I started with the target at 7 yards and these were my first shots:
The gun performed perfectly and was fun to shoot. I plan on taking the wife to the range soon to shoot both the FS M&P 9 and the M&P 9c and will post on how that goes.
