I liked the stock trigger but it was a little heavy for me and wasn't shooting it as well as I liked. Also as many have stated it was gritty and not the best break. I contiplated getting the Apex kit and bought it. Even after that it sat on my desk for 3 weeks as I still wasn't sure if it was worth it. I had switched out the trigger on my AR-15 and it made a world of difference so I decided why not worth a try.... and I am VERY glad I did. The take up is smooth, the trigger pull is reduced, and the break is clean. I was able to reduce my groups drastically too. The install was easy, just watch the videos and you should be fine. I used both my steel and brass punches. The hardest part was getting my rear sight off. I ended up taking a large brass punch and ground one side down so there was a flat surface and therefor more contact with the sight. I then put tape both on the sight and the punch and put the slide in a vise with a soft material as protection from the vise.
The picture is 8 rounds at 7 yards, semi-rapid fire. With this set up I know I could get a smaller group with a slower fire rate.
