Default Anyone own a dueling tree target?

I have been looking around for a dueling tree target for 9mm and .40 handguns.

I have looked at Action Target brand and it looks pretty nice, but heavy as sin and pricey. I will be transporting it to and from the range when I use it. It looks like I could take off the plates for transportation to make the weight more manageable (weighs about 105 lb assembled). So far, this is my first choice.

Anyone have the Action standard dueling tree? Is it relatively easy to transport? Any thoughts on it? I saw the Hickock45 video with it and he was having a great time with it.

The one from Champion Targets, at 4 feet, is a bit short and seems kind of light duty.

Any other suggestions?

I have one that we play with that I got from Midway. They only work if you make it secure to the ground. We use foot long spikes so that it doesn't move side to side at all. This is what I got:

Do-All Roundup Dueling Tree 9mm to 30-06 Springfield Steel

if you got a welder & torch you can build your own in about 3 hrs. ...if not get the local welding shop to build you one out of T1 1/2" plate ...have shot mine hundreds of times with my Garand, M14, M16, & all the way down to my 9c ...take care

I own the action target heavy duty dueling tree, haven't had it long or shot it to much yet though. So far it's great, it is a bit on the heavy side but manageable. As price goes its a bit more then most but if you do your research when it comes to steel you get what you pay for. Another good company that I can speak from experience is MGM targets, I have one of there whirly gigs and its great. All good steel targets are going to be heavy and expensive but if you want something that will work and last it's worth it.

A little off topic but I just purchased one for .22lr from Brownells. Only $139 shipped after discount code DUT ($5 shipping if over $125). This is the quality Action Target version, not the cheaper Champion.
