HELLP?!: Long Rifle vs. Rimfire
I just ordered a M&P 22LR Pistol... what ammo do I ask for? I am new to owning a handgun and need advice.. are they the same or different?

You also need a training and a safety course by the sounds of it too. Your looking for 22LR ammo which is hard to come by right now.

Agree, I have been through safety and range training with my Glock 9mm.. I just ordered this the other day for my wife as the Glock scared here... just looking for ammo.

There is also 22 short, 22 long and 22 magnum rimfire, and these will Not work in your gun, so make sure you get .22 Long Rifle. Which like a lot of other things right now seems to be pretty scarce.
