Default M&P 9c magazines

Just bought a new 9c, comes with 2 10rd mags, I am wondering if these mags are like the MP22s, in that if you take the spacer out you get a 12rd magazine? As you know S&W includes a 12rd mag on new sales for most states except those of us unfortunate to reside in Calif, MA etc

It's a good thought but it won't work. The tube is shorter and the base plate is different.

Off topic...but looks like the 10 rd full size mags can be turned into compact 10 rd by switching out the baseplates.

Not on mine. I have the castrated 9c mags as well and there is NO WAY you'll get any more than 10 rounds in them.

If you have trouble loading the 10th round in, reference this thread for a fix:

I was looking At that today as I have an extra base plate and can get full size mags at lgs no compact mags though
