Can't insert full mag into 9c
I have a CA version of a 9c. The mag holds 10 rounds. With one in the chamber I can't seem to get a full 10 round mag to fit. It's hitting the round in the chamber. If I take one round out it fits fine. What am I doing wrong? I thought the gun could be 10+1.

I would suggest loading 9 & 1.

Leave one out until it's broke in. Nothing new...

Fill the mag up and let it sit for a few days.

You can cut 1/8 inch off the legs of the follower. I did this on all six of the mags for my 9c and they load much easier.

I had to do that with almost every new semi-auto pistol, most recently the Sigma 40VE & I expect the same with my M&P 40C when it arrives.

Fill it up and slam it in. It doesn't matter if there is a round in the chamber or not. When the slide is closed, the chamber is over the first round in the mag.
I do like the tip about trimming the follower legs.

Give it a good smack, I found the same when I fully filed my 12 round magazines, just didn't want to push in.

++ on all the above. Just new and tight. It'll loosen up.
