Maybe Remora?
After studying the Remora website, I am leaning toward the model 6 for my 9C, and the 6 art for my shield. Only thing about the remora I am hesitant about is, each of their models fit several different brands. This tells me they are not specifically made for each gun. Should this be a concern, enough to order and wait for a crossbreed super tuck? Thanks ahead for any opinion or advice.

I would read this thread.
https://smith-wessonforum.com/smith-wesson-m-p-pistols/301046-remora-holster-m-p-shield.html
Lots of discussion about remora for shield. I just returned my 6 art w/ ss. Front sight catch on seam. Just got home and found replacement in the mail. I'll post my thoughts on replacement after a few days.
I can't complain about Remora's customer Service.

I ordered both so I don't have an answer quite honestly. I have the feeling, based on a lot of research like you did, the Remora will be my favorite. One thing I learned is to not order the RFT option. Even Alan (the owner) recommends to not order it unless fast reholstering is important. He didn't tell me, I found it in my research. Also went with the full sweat shield. My Super Tuck is 6-8 weeks from getting here based on the website. Good luck.

Precise fit to a specific model is not as much a concern for the Remora type of holster. The crossbreed is a totally different kind of holster, so you need to decide which type of holster you want. Read Bugkiller's link for more info.

Agree with Ransom, you'd be comparing apples to oranges. That said, I have a Remora I use frequently for both Shield and CS9, depending on how I need a holster to interface with what I'm wearing. Example, with drawstring pants (i.e. sweats, "windpants", athletic/running shorts), the Remora is a great option. Holds gun securely and is comfortable. But if I'm in jeans or something I can use a regular old OWB with, that is my preferred holster. Different situations, different holsters, but the Remora is IMO a well made, well performing option.

This is the Remora that was sent to me in a shipping package entitled "6ART-RFT".
It is 100% efficient in what the company claims.
A pleasure to wear CCW.

Contact Remora for Questions
I can say this about Remora:
They are a pleasure to deal with. If you have a question, they will help you. You will get an answer promptly, I assure you.
The holster is sticky and stays in place, where ever you put it. I have carried with a Remora for over two years. It is the most comfortable IWB holster I have found. It wears like IRON without the rust. It is very inexpensive compared to other IWB holsters. You will receive your order quickly. Their warranty is the best you can find. No clips to fuss with....just plain sticky. And you can wash it by hand. Everyone that I have referred to Remora has been very pleased and loves to carry with their holster. They have several models from which to choose with and without sweat shields. I prefer without the sweat shield, but you choose for yourself. I would not spend my hard earned dollars on any IWB holster, but a Remora. It is the only way to go! Try one on for yourself. They are inexpensive enough to give a try without regret. But they are top shelf quality.

Another holster to consider which is simlar to the Remora is "Sticky Holster". I have been carrying my M&P 9c in one for a few weeks now and couldn't be happier, so much so I just ordered another "Sticky Holster" for a J frame.

Here are some photos of my Sticky Holster, as you can see it is very similar to the Remora.

Many thanks, Bushido. I am going to order a 6 for my m&p 9C. Should I order a 6 as well for my m&p shield or order the 6 Art?

Great post! I have the LG-6S, which fits my 9C, G30, and several other handguns I own.
