Default Anything to look for on a 2012 Shield 9mm

Looks like I might be trading my Ruger SP101 for a S&W Shield for use as my concealed carry piece. The owner states that it passed the test for the recall on the trigger safety reset. Is there anything else I should check for? He states he has only put 50 rounds through it.

No that was the only warning issue for the 9mm Shield, and it was a minor problem that did not effect very many guns. I have seen new Shields selling for around average of $350, so base your buying on the fact it is a two year old gun. That $350 gun with taxes and fees would be around $380 approx.

I am sure that some LEO discounts, etc., would be close to $300 plus fees for a new Shield. That may be an OK price point for a used Shield +/- some.

Non-LEO prices are around $400-$450 locally on the Shield. He is including a Blackhawk Serpa holster and some money too in the trade.
