Default .40 Shield Mag-Loader

My wife and I both have .40 cal Shields and she is having a difficult time loading the mags.
Does anyone make a magazine speed loader for the Shield?

UPLULA! Only way to go, also good for us older geezers battling hand arthritis. Makes short, simple, efficient work of loading any magazine. Maybe the best 30 or so bucks I've ever spent. You won't be sorry and neithr will your wife. They were a little clumsy the first time or two for me but once you get going with it the magazines fill up in a matter of seconds. Go to their website, watch the video, then buy one.

These guys know what they're talking about. The Uplula will make life at the range so much easier. Also keep in mind that since your magazines are brand new, they will be difficult to load to maximum capacity. If this happens, just get as much in them as you can & let them sit around for a few days. The magazine spring will relax a little & then you shouldn't have any problems. Happy Shooting!

Not sure why everyone is giving you bad advice. Don't listen to them. Go get yourself a Uplula.

Butler Creek and Maglula Uplula are the same item. Cabela's has it in stock for $34.99 I believe Butler Creek is the US distributor for Magula LTD. But, I could be wrong. Midway USA has it for $33.25.

Midway's site says it will not work properly with S&W 7 round 9MM mags. Mine works fine with both the 7 round and 8 round mags for my 9MM Shield.

I agree about the UPLULA. My wife has ms and doesnt always have food hand strength. I always got stuck loading her mags. Now she enjoys doing it and even loads mine sometimes. Amazing product.

I just gave away a UPLULA to a friend over Easter. Made him load a mag for my new to me CZ75B as I was busy with other guns. He made a comment on how easy it was. I made him load some different mags for different guns. No more fragged out thumb. Then I gave it to him. Bought another for me when I returned home. Best range bag widget that you can get.

I have two of these since one came with my 9mm range kit. Both of them work perfect for the 9mm shield and 9mm full size but it always seems to get hung up on the .40 shield mags. The bullet is shaped differently and the arm has troubles retracting.

I'm relative new to guns. I got an UPLULA and went to the range with an experienced shooter. He had not seen one before. He ordered one as soon as he got home. Work great on Shield 9mm magazines 7 and 8 round.
I'd did have a little trouble with a glock model 35 mag though..

I rather use their pink Uplula than do without.

The Lula for rifles is also phenomenal.

My Shield mags are the hardest mags I have ever loaded. They start off really easy and get realy hard as they fill. That last round is almost impossible.

I'm glad there is hope for loading these mags. This is the worst gun I've ever tried to load mags for. I will order a UPLULA today.

Sooner than I expected, the mag springs wore in. The Uplula is awesome, but when I forget to take it along, the loading isn't too bad now. When the mags were new though? Pure misery without the Uplula!

I have a Shield .40 CA and it works fine with the 7 round mags. There is no way I can load them by hand even after 3 years. The mag springs are really strong.

My 40 Shield mags would not load more than 5 rounds the first two trips to the range but loosened up after that.
