Default Holster Review: Tucker Cover Up Plus

Tucker Gun Leather Website: Tucker Gun Leather | Premium Leather Gun Holsters

Update : Holstered Grip and Body Pictures

When I got my first firearm a couple years ago, I was lucky to run across a hand made holster company. I saw the quality of the holsters produce by Tucker Gun Leather and had to have one. Every firearm I own has been paired with a Tucker Holster. Normally I've been used to carrying larger hand guns. I figured it was time to find something more convenient than a SIGSayer P220. Lol. So I got my Shield sometime last month and guess what I had to do? I sent it off to XD-HS2000 for the "treatment", we would have to acquire a nice suit for its return. Couple weeks later it's here!

This is an IWB holster. This version is the Plus model. It can be worn in many positions and had many options. It is easily adjustable for ride height and cant. It's constructed of leather, retention screws and a Kydex clip (style of your choice). The Cover Up Plus has an internal reinforcing strip so the holster "always stays open for easy re-holstering".
The quality of this holster is way above average. Tucker Gun Leather always impresses me with each holster I receive. I've always been able to confidently refer people to the business because of the quality of work they provide. It's not flimsy and it actually feels like a rig.
Not only are the products great, the customer service is too. I've only contacted Rob via email. But he has always made the time to answer all of my questions. Response time has been quick for me in my experiences.
How it looks holstered:

Retention is excellent. It won't just slip out and the retention screws make it conveniently adjustable. It can be as loose or tight as you want it.

MSRP : $75 - $95 Depending on Options

Let me know if you guys have any questions. I'd be happy to answer them for you. Hope you enjoyed the review!

$95 isn't much for a quality holster - certainly not unreasonable. The more particular your needs, the more true this is.

It's like any accessory. If you're going to spend so much on the main item, why not spend a fair amount on the accessories? For me the quality of these holsters is second to none.

Can get a solid grip while holstered. Sorry, I'm a nail biter.

How it looks on my person.
