Just picked up a compact today and would like to change the front sight to a fiber optic like I did on my full sized M&P22. I'm having trouble finding meaningful results searching the web so thought I'd ask here.
The sight on the full sized had set screws holding it in place and it appears the compact does not.
OK I'm resurrecting this dead thread, was looking for any sights besides stock for my wife's 22 compact. I did a search on this forum, google and e-bay. No info at all. Maybe some things just don't exist.
I don't have an m&p22 compact but I did little digging and found something that may be of interest.
It specifies that it "Fits S&W M&P full size, compact and Shield in all calibers. Does not fit the MP9L or M&P Pro". It may be worth a call to make sure it will fit the 22 compact, but it sounds like it's what you guys are looking for.
I'd called HI Viz last week and they said they did not make a sight to fit the compact. But it certainly worth another call. I'd posted the same question on another board as well as my results. I should have posted it here also.
