Default M&P .22 compact - a deal I couldn't resist.

Finally ordered an M&P .22 compact from Gunbuyer.com. They're offering a fantastic deal for them at $279.99 with free shipping. Missed the opportunity the last time they offered it as they ran out of stock fairly fast. Jumped on the deal this morning after receiving an e-mail from them indicating they had received additional pistols in stock.

Excellent purchase!. I recently purchased same gun for wife and I as introduction to gun ownership/target shooting. I am sure you will be happy with purchase.
Good size/weight for her hands and didn't feel too small in mine. We have enjoyed the gun so far. Since I am so happy with the S&W M&P have been thinking about a 9mm version for a birthday present for myself.

i have an M&P 9mm and my wife has a 22 compact. Both guns are fairly new but we've put over 1000 rounds through both. I have an occasional fte (usually on the first round of the day) but the 22 has been flawless. We are very happy with both. The 22 seems to like whatever ammo we put through it. Not sure what's causing the 9mm to fte.

Smith and Wesson just updated the M&P 22 compact with a suppressor ready version. Website lists the MSRP as $409.00, but street price will likely be lower. An article I found on Ammoland states that there will also be a suppressor adapter kit available.

Same here. I have been waiting for the PSA sale that they had before for $249.00 with free shipping. But when I saw this one I said heck I'm tired of waiting so I went there and like you found it out of stock. I did put myself down for an email when it comes back.

Good stuff! Mine's intended as a range trainer for my Wife so she doesn't have to shoot 9mm all the time from her M&P 9c (kind of fatigues her). As such, the basic pistol is just fine. I plan on getting another magazine or two, as the included 2 just doesn't seem like enough.
Just got notified it was shipped via UPS. Due at my ffl's on tues 7th.
