Default Wear on Frame rail M&P 9c

I have a M&P 9mm compact with 250 rounds through it and would like to know if the wear on the frame rail is normal. I have seen this on some other guns but they have had more rounds through them. I have kept the rails oiled and have cleaned the gun each time I have taken it to the range.

Its just the slide lapping itself to the frame. All is good.

My M&P9fs with 800+ rounds and my new 9c with just under 200 rounds through them have the same wear spots. No problems noted.

What wear?

Get back to us with pictures after about 60,000 rounds and we will let you know how your slide rails are doing. If they are worn by then (and the ones in the test were not), you have a lifetime warranty and S&W will fix it. I believe the M&P rails are replaceable.

Just shoot the daylights out of your gun! It is ok!
