Semi Wadcutter?
Anyone ever run semi wadcutters through their M&P9 FS? I read somewhere they are good for Steel Challenge shooting.

Can't say they would be any better or worse for steel, mainly a matter of bullet energy. I use LSWCs' for my 9mm Bullseye gun just for the nice clean hole they cut, makes for easier scoring.

That is the reason to use wad cutters, for nice clean cut holes in paper targets.
