M&P 9c came with 12rd mag in Mass
Hello, moved from PA to Mass and I just bought my gun 2 days ago, and it came with 10 and 12rd magazines... Was this an error from the dealer? From S&W?
I thought all guns in MASS came with 10 rd mag
Thanks for your advice

Call S&W they will change out the 12 round magazine for a 10 round magazine, no cost to you. It happens fairly often, I had it happen with a Ruger I bought as well. Having a non compliant magazine in Ma. is illegal (felony charge), not worth it IMHO.

Impossible! Evil 12 round mags stop at the state line. I think you must be mistaken....it's the only explanation.

At great personal risk, I am willing to take the illegal 12 rounder off your hands so you don't get in trouble... just ship it to me here in Ohio

You can try going back to where you purchased it and see if they will swap it out for you.

Thanks to all for your comments, yes it fits and fires the 12 rounds, so carry 13! Will call S&W as who knows I someone in the gun club counts the number of shots each takes in a row.
Must train finger now for 10lbs! Was getting low and left groups, but changing the grip help a lot.
Thanks again

From all I've read, once you buy the gun, you can lighten the trigger pull down to the normal stock level if you live in Mass.
