I've owned an M&P .45 for some time now. I have just over 1,800 rounds through it. I didn't like the trigger and upgraded to an Apex FSS. The trigger is much better now and I really like it.
I shot a friend's .40, but he wouldn't sell it to me. So, I bought my own. The other day I did a function test and put 20 quick rounds through it. Today I had more time and put 100 more through it. The first ten I really took my time and put them all within 2" at 7 yards. That's good for me considering the heavy stock trigger.
I can't explain it, but I really like this gun. It's just very comfortable to shoot. Not as nice as my 1911, but close as far as comfort is concerned. The sights are easy to acquire and the recoil is very manageable.
I really like this gun.
I'm going to leave it stock for now and see if I can get better with this heavy trigger.
