Default Shield mag holders

I'm looking for a mag holder for shield mags. I'd like something with a clip so I don't need a belt. Single mag is fine. Double is ok too. Kydex or leather is also fine.

I'm just looking for actually testimonies of use. Thanks in advance

check out multiholsters.com here in Michigan. I believe he manufactures and sells some. Really great to deal with. I have the shield quick ship holster and is the best and most comfortable that I have found.

This is the holder I use for my shield.
It is leather and has adjustable tension. Comes in brown or black.
Shield mags are a kind of in between size. Not quite single stack but not double stack.
BlackHawk is generally available at many gun and outdoor retail outlets.

I don't need a holster. I have a few already now. I'm strictly looking for mag holders. I don't want a general holder like that Blackhawk. I'm looking for items that are shield specific. Retention is of the most importance to me.

Edit: just read your original post. Can't be any help on the clip requirement. Seems like everything I've seen with a clip is not a specifically made carrier.

What you're looking for is not going to be "Shield specific"...it's either going to be for a double stack magazine (i.e., G17/19 magazine, FS M&P magazine, etc.) or it's going to be for a single stack magazine (that's the category the Shield magazine fits in).

I use the Blackhawk clip-on single mag (single stack) carrier. I'm wearing one now. It's plastic, not leather, and has a big tension spring in it to hold the magazine securely in place - it also has a full-length clip on the back.

Here it is:

BLACKHAWK! Single Magazine Pouches | Bass Pro Shops

I'm not promoting Bass Pro Shop; in fact I don't like them...you can find these anywhere, it's just that Bass Pro's link had the best picture and description...I got mine for $19/ea at a local gun shop.

Almost

Raven Concealment (the company) Phantom Modular Holster (the type of holster). Mag carriers are just called mag carriers.

Default Shield Mag Holder

A leather(or otherwise flexible) 1911 .45 mag holder will work. If it`s your one and only for the .45 it will stretch it just slightly. I like Falco holsters and acc. Just contacted them the other day and they don`t have holsters for the Shield yet but they sell several types of clip on mag holders. Their base rough side out with clip mag holder is $12 if I recall. I have one for my M&P and it works well. I think(gulp) the one they have for the .45 single stack will serve you well. Good Luck, John

FWIW, I carry an 8 round Shield mag in the scabbard that came with my Gerber Multitool. It fits perfectly, and I never worry about anyone seeing it.

Appreciate all the opinions. I like the raven but not having a clip is a deal breaker for me.

Here's a holster and matching mag holder that I made for my shield.... The mag holder can be carried vertical or horizontal. This one is designed to clip to your belt but will work without.. Both made from Blood Red Kydex..

Anyone tried Celtic mag holders? Leather backing with a clip and a kydex front. Ala crossbreed supertuck.

I needed a single mag holster for a defensive pistol class I took last week using my 9mm Shield. I could not be happier with this holster and it matches my 5.11 leather gun belt too.

I use the Magholder horizontal pouches for my M&P 9 and for my 1911s. It is a perfect concealment solution and their release of a model for the Shield is imminent.
