If you can make an ankle hoster work for you - good for you!!! I admit there is a place for them but, just my humble opinion, they're for police use only, because sometimes LEOs have no place else for a back up gun. For the rest of us it's hardly ever a useful place for a gun, not when a belt/IWB/*** holster can be backed up with either a pocket gun or even another gun on the other hip.
But you'll be very well served with that holster IWB, no doubt about it.

You have good point. I don't see the ankle holster replacing my pocket holster.
It was an emotional purchase. The gun store is new and to drum up business they have been mailing out free range passes every month for the last three months and the free range trips must have played into buying the ankle holster.
The Sticky iwb is still cool and I can attach it to the ankle strap so its not all bad.
Sidebar - just to ensure that nothing is totally lost in this discussion, this: belt/IWB/*** meant this: belt/IWB/small of back. I abbreviated small of back with initials and the keep-your-language-clean software program obviously didn't like what the abbreviation looked like.
Made me laugh when I figured it out.

PS:
And I understand emotional purchases, Russ, especially in a new LGS!!!! Nice to have a new one!
I got my Sticky holster today. I am really impressed by how well it stays in place IWB. I have been wearing it at ~3:30 for a few hours around the house and it has not moved. It is very comfortable and also does not print at all.
