Thumbs up EDC carry change

My EDC has been a Glock 36 IWB and a S&W 340PD in the
pocket for some time now. But, I think that's going to change.
I'm 64 and have spondilolysthesis ( a slipped vertebrae ) that's
giving me sciatic nerve problems mostly down my right hip
and leg. I've been carrying my Shield9 IWB on my right hip
and have noticed a marked reduction in pain. I've also been
carrying my .380 Bodyguard in my pocket and the two
together have become my EDC for the last week and I'm very
comfortable with it. I love a .45acp and if I ever run across a
SA XDs45, I may try that but right now, this combo feels good.
Can't wait for my CT Laserguard, extra mags and IWB holster
made for the Shield9 to get here. I'm in the market for a
Shield40 over the XDs45. If I find one of them, it'll be mine
real quick.

Glad to hear you've found a healthy work-around and good carry options.

I still love a .45 but the older I get, the more into
comfort I find myself.

My everyday carry Is similar to yours. I carried a Beretta nano on my hip and a Smith & Wesson bodyguard 380 my front pocket. Carrie like that all summer long.

Got my magazines and CT Laserguard in today. Now it's
complete.
Tried a Nano a friend of mine has. It was nice, just didn't
trip my trigger though. He likes his real well though. I made
the modification to my Bodyguard 380's laser controls that
you see on Youtube and went from mediocre feelings about
it to really liking it a lot. I'd bought it for my wife but she
didn't like it cause the laser was so hard to use. By the time
I fixed that, she'd tried my LC9 and wanted one for her own.
She now has the Talo Lady Lilac verson of the LC9 with CT
Laserguard and loves it. I like my LC9 well enough but since
got this Shield 9, it's been put up in the safe.

You cannot go wrong with a Shield in 9mm. Many people find them very comfortable in a pocket holster.

Therefore, instead of a .380 in the pocket, get a second Shield and carry one Shield using your IWB method and one Shield in the pocket.

I'd just pocket carry my LC9 if that's the case
I have it already set up w/ CT Laserguard and a pocket
holster. That's a great idea. Glad I thought of it.

But, if I run across a Shield 40, that will change to the 40 IWB and the 9 in the pocket.
