Does the gun still function?
Did you put in a lighter recoil spring?

I didn't shot it yet, but no I didn't change the spring. The sight only weights 1.2oz not sure of the mounts weight. I'm going to the shooting range tomorrow, I'll post an update on the performance afterwards.

Cool

20131118_234404.jpgWant to update on the gun performance: Went shooting the other day with my brother and my wife.. my bro has a springfield 1911 45. As to my m&p, I was shooting just fine did not feel any difference from before without the sight. Still need some adjustments but by the time we were finishing up I had it adjusted pretty well. My wife likes the 1911 mostly becauce of the kick. The 1911 I heavier but doesn't kick back as much as my m&p plus she was aggravated becauce the sight on my gun wasn't adjusted right so she would miss a lot.
