Looking for the plugs that replace saftey...anyone know where I can find them?

First, you might want to tell us what firearm you ar talking about. S&W makes and has made many different 45s and they do not have interchangeable parts.

645, 745, 845, 945, 4516, CS45, M&P45, etc

Secondly you might also tell us what you are trying to do. S&W does not make plugs to replace the safety on their firearms.

Third, perhaps you have a picture of what you are talking about that you can post for us to see.

Are you perhaps thinking about the DAO pistols that do not have safeties?

Well, we are in the M&P forum so, I'm going to go out on a limb and say he's talking about an M&P .45 gun.

S&W does make plugs to cover the hole left when removing the thumb safety. They can be found here: Factory Parts : Welcome to Speed Shooter Specialties

They are called M&P Manual Safety Frame Plug. Take note that there is a left and right model. They are different so you'll need to order both.

I'm pretty sure this is what the OP is looking for, but I've been wrong before.
