Speed Shooter Specialties usually has them, but out of stock now.
You could try calling Smith.

Smith & Wesson sells frame plugs to cover up the owner's removal of their firearm safety device?
Color me agast.

GandR only has them in stock because you have buy at least $50 worth of stuff to make a purchase with them. Unless there's something else you want from GandR, you're out of luck there.
I've been looking for M&P parts (including frame plugs) for weeks. S&W sucks at getting parts out to sellers. At this point, I think you're just going to have to wait. I'm in the same boat.

They don't sell them, they give them away. Keep in mind they make some models with and without a thumb safety. So when an owner removes his thumb safety he's only making it like the non-thumb safety version, he's not making an unsafe pistol.

The first time I tried contacting them was through email and they never responded to it. Next I called them. I had to sit on hold for about 10 or 15 minutes. Then someone answered and told me the plugs are in short supply but they would send me some when they were available. I received one plug two or three weeks later. Still waiting on the other one. Good luck.

Don't believe everything you hear. They responded to my email and sent me two magazine followers free of charge.

Yes it will work fine but not sure for how long. I've carried a 45c and a 40c each for over a year and was amazed at the fuzz and dust/dirt that gets in through the openings where the safety was.
I found someone who wants to trade the plugs in his pistol for my safety. Perhaps that might work for others as well. The plugs have been in short supply for well over a year I think.

Oh man, I worded that wrong. What I meant to say was that I've noted a couple of posts where people have stated that they emailed S&W and didn't receive a reply. I imagine they are pretty busy up there and some emails probably slip through the cracks every now and then.

Awesomeness! Got home from work today and found a little package from S&W in my mailbox. A few weeks ago they sent me one frame plug and today i received the plug for the other side. It took a little while but they came through. Thanks S&W.
