Default Had Trigger pull on my Shield done...

and had it done twice.. the first time it came in at 6.5 lbs, and the 2nd time it came in at 6 1/4 lbs. Its where S&W says it should be, but I would really like to get it down to around 5.5. Is there any way to do that without putting in an Apex trigger or other parts? Is there anything I can do to the stock trigger to lighten it up a pound? Thanks for any help or advice.

Wow. Niiiice.

The last step sear cutting is not as clear for me as his other directions. I understand reducing engagement, but not the cut necessary to adjust over travel "on the opposite side".
