Default New CORE

Finally got my new core 9mm a few weeks ago. I love it! Put a couple hundred rounds through it so far. Did a color job on the lettering and added an aluminum apex fss trigger kit. The apex trigger is amazing. I couldn't be happier. Now waiting on the new delta point 2 to come out and thinking about polishing the barrel and maybe the apex ram. I am alse recieving an extended mag release from LF Arms for a product test review. Can't wait to try it out!

Nice looking gun! I also have the core but I put the deltapoint 1 on it. I love the gun, really want to do the apex upgrade and already bought a threaded barrel for it. My only gripe is the 8 MOA delta, I really wish I'd of bought the 3 MOA dot instead and there is no way I can justify spending another 400 to get it right. I figure I'll just use the top of the triangle for my POI. Other than the size of the delta I like the deltapoint itself, it's very cool looking, easy to see and sharp. Glad to know the apex is worth it because that's next.

I just bought a 5in. .40cal CORE a couple of weeks ago and really like it. To tell u the truth I wasn't much of an M&P fan. I just really wanted a gun that I could put a red dot on from the factory. The only choices are the FNH fnx .45 tactical and the CORE. I went with the CORE because I wanted 9mm capability but .40 is the only ammo regularly in stock at the local Wally worlds. This way I can buy the 9mm barrel and mag and shoot both calibers when the 9 is in stock. I love having the red dot!! I have the Trijicon RMR RM07 3.5 moa adjustable brightness model and so far have no problems with it. The screws were very hard to get all the way in the slide. I had to heat the holes with a torch to liquefy the brown factory thread locker ****. Other than that and getting used to the slide closing when inserting a mag the gun has been great. I do want to try some APEX goodies to make it even better. Good luck with your CORE and I hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine.

Actually one other thing was off on mine. The front sight is way over to the right when looking from the shooting position. It was causing me to shoot way left until I looked at the front sight. I can't get the thing to budge at all using a punch and a hammer. Since I have the RMR and it's sighted in I can deal with it, but it should have been right when I bought it!
