Talking M&P 45c opinions.

I'm getting a new to me 45c this weekend and was wondering what you guys that have them think. It is used and already has apex trigger kit and night sights installed. Also coming with a cross bread super tuck holster. Is there anything else you would recommend. Thanks

Great gun, the M&P in .45 is the best of the bunch.

Great gun. I like taking it to the range every time I go. I carry a shield but 45c is my HD gun

I ended up doing a trigger job and adding 10-8 sights, tritium front sight. I love mine! I've been carrying it with a cheapo IWB nylon holster or outside the belt with Safariland concealment holster. It's not bad, but I just upgraded to a Blade Tech Nano and I haven't received it yet. Can't wait though!

Lots of ammo. I just bought 2 100 round boxes of Federal at Walmart for $38.00 a box. The Winchester was $24.00 for a 50 round box. At least they had some to sell.

I have had my 45c for about 6 months. Not one failure with about 500 rounds through it so far. I carry it everyday in my Crossbreed ST. Just waiting for Crimson Trace to come out with a laser grip for it.

In my humble opinion, the 45c is the best of breed. And I'll agree - lots of ammo.

You guys must have even-smaller hands than mine--or enjoy having your little finger waving about in mid-air instead of gripping the gun. I use .45 full-size, 10-round mags in mine with X-Grips gap fillers.

Got mine at MidwayUSA.

Not knowing how many magazines you are getting with it, I'd say more get your mags followed by more ammo

If you plan to carry the piece and you decide to carry an extra magazine on your belt, you may want to look in to a way to carry the magazine.

I use a generic nylon multi-tool nylon pouch with a velcro flap for the double stack .45 magazine when I tuck in my shirt and when my shirt is not tucked in, I use a mag holder from kytexgear.com.

Enjoy.

Great gun if you replace the horrible trigger. Bare minimum replace that stupid hinged trigger for the glock style one. S&W can call it a DA trigger all day long but at best it's 3% DA.....97% SA.
