M&P .45 Night sights + Concealed Carry recommendations, please?
Gentlemen and ladies,
Have my first pistol, an M&P .45, arriving shortly. Reading multiple Trijicon recommendations for night sights, but no mention of concealed carry application. Looking for bright and sturdy night sights that will also slip easily in/out of holster. Thanks for sharing your expertise.

Novak makes the stock M&P nightsights. Ameriglo, and Truglo are other choices as well. I've honestly never heard of a sight being caught on a holster before as most if not all have a sight channel big enough. What it boils down to really is if you like 3 dot, 2 dot or xs type sights.

Reason: changed Trijicon to Novak

Night sites are a very personal thing. I just put a set of heine straight eight sites (two dot) on my 40. As a combat site I really like the two dot style. Other companies also make similar styles.
The best thing would be to see if you can find people who have some of the other styles and try them out to see what you like.

1+ for the Trijicon HDs in orange. Great for day and night.
It's comforting to look over on your nightstand and see them glow.
I have them on the three M&Ps that I carry.

I put on a set of Warren Tactical 3 dot tritium sights (they use Trijicon vials) , I like the rounded no snag profile of the rear sight and how the front sight dot nestles in the U notch of the rear sight.
Got mine here at Brownells

The only time u picking night sight or any sights would be a problem for concealed carry is if u had sights designed for over a suppressor. Otherwise it's all preference

I also installed a set of Warren Tacticals on my 45C for carry, but I opted for the plain rear with tritium front sights. Probably the fastest sight to pick up a target I have ever used.

Stock Night Sights Just Fine
I have the stock M&P night sights that came with the gun. I think they're just fine for their intended use. So for me, if it ain't broke, I won't fix it.
